What it is
Kido Kida is live, on-demand AI help over video. Someone stuck on an AI problem taps "Help me now" and is matched with a helper who's online. Helpers can take paid sessions or give free ones.
The problem
Kido Kida started as a one-page site with one video-call link and one payment link. Matching people, scheduling, taking payment and following up were all done by hand.
What we built
- Instant matching. Guests and helpers see who's online. A request reaches an available helper in seconds.
- Private video rooms. Every session gets its own video room on the site, so there are no meeting links to send around.
- A free first session. No signup and no card needed.
- Simple payment. After that, paid help goes through secure Stripe checkout, with no account needed.
- Booking for later. When no helper is online, a guest books a 15 to 60 minute slot, and the booking includes the session link.
- "Notify me." Guests can leave an email to hear when a helper comes online.
- A tool for the owner. One place to see the waitlist and send email campaigns, with a preview before anything goes out.
